Sun down today marked the first night of Chanukah. Originally, we were going to drive up to Killeen and meet up with Steve's parents, but his dad was feeling good today and they decided to come down instead. Last time I left off, I was congested, achey and had a sore throat. That disappeared, but instead, I developed this cough. It got worse and worse and worse, to the point where this morning I coughed up blood in my phelgm. I went to the doctor today after work and he said it was a post viral cough and it will usually last a few weeks..yes, plural, ( Read more... )

Friday April 25: Today was Misti's birthday! After work, I met up with Lisa lkf03 & Angela canadagirl where we carpooled to the Melting Pot in downtown Austin and met up with Misti concertina_40, her friend Amy, and Anne. Yesterday marked 6 years since Steve and I were exclusive :o) We slept in and went for brunch at Magnolia Cafe. The wait was CRAZY with tons of people waiting outside, but we braved it for 45 mins before being seated inside. My breakfast was wonderful!
